I am Ellen Reitmayr, a freelance usability consultant based in Berlin.

With a masters degree in psychology, my original expertise is the field of user research and usability evaluation. Through further training and working in multi disciplinary teams for more than four years now, I also gained experience in user interface design.

My special interest is how to integrate usability with Open Source software development (F/OSS). The internal structures of most F/OSS projects differ strongly from commercial projects; including usability effectively is a challenge.
